The Story of Jeffery Hall and His Son, Joseph Hall

Jeffrey Russell Hall was a plumber and the regional leader of the National Socialist Movement, also known as the Nazi Party, in Riverside, California, United States of America. On May 1, 2011, while sleeping on his couch, his 10-year-old son Joseph Hall shot him to death with his own gun.

ABOUT JEFFERY HALL

Jeffrey Hall was born on the 21st of November, 1998. He was married to Leticia Neal, with whom he had two children, Joseph and Shirley. After a while, they got divorced. The Couple lost custody of the Children in 2003. Social Workers declared Leticia Neal’s house unfit for raising kids while Hall was on probation for drunk driving at the time. His two kids were consequently temporarily given to their grandmother.

Jeffery Hall reclaimed full custody of his kids in 2004. After that, he married Krista McCary, with whom he had three more daughters. Hall had struggled to find employment for three years due to the downturn in the construction industry’s economy. He thus became a local leader in the Neo-Nazi movement because he believed that Jews and non-whites were to blame for the diminishing job market.

ABOUT JOSEPH HALL

Jeffery Hall and Letica Neal’s first child, Joseph Hall, who was born on June 19, 2000, was reportedly violent from a young age, even before his father joined the National Socialist Movement. Joseph slapped his sisters and his stepmother, stabbed schoolmates with pencils, and once attempted to choke a teacher with a telephone cord.

Joseph was a troubled and aggressive child, according to his grandmother. He had been expelled from a number of schools for attacking students and faculty members. He lacked an understanding of cause and effect, according to her. Along with ADHD and average intelligence, Joseph also suffered from developmental disabilities.

His stepmother, Krista McCary, and Mr. Hall home-schooled him and his sister under the direction of River Springs Charter School after he had been expelled from half a dozen schools due to violent behavior. Additionally, Jeffery Hall consistently beat Joseph for years.

DEATH OF JEFFERY HALL.

Jeffery Hall was teaching his eldest son Joseph how to use night-vision equipment and shoot a gun, which ended tragically.

Jeffery Hall returned home from one of his drinking nights on May 1, 2011, and passed out on his couch. Prosecutors claim Joseph waited until his father, Jeff Hall, passed out drunk on the couch after an argument with his wife, then took his father’s Rossi.357 magnum revolver from his parent’s bedroom and shot his father in the head at point-blank range.

In a police interview, Joseph admitted to the shooting but said he didn’t expect to face charges because he had watched an episode of the TV crime drama Criminal Minds where a young boy killed his abusive father but wasn’t detained.

According to Joseph, the day before the shooting, his father threatened to turn off all the smoke detectors and set the house on fire while the family slept. Joseph acknowledged that he had grown weary of his father hitting both his mother and him.

His 26-year-old stepmother Krista added that Hall had been abusive toward both her and the boy, occasionally losing control and kicking the boy in the back. Every day, he would punish his kids to varying degrees. According to the police report, the house was filthy, had clothes all over the floor, and smelled strongly of urine. The kids had access to many weapons.

JOSEPH HALL IS TRIED AND SENTENCED.

Joseph Hall was arrested and charged with his father’s murder. His defense attorney contended that Joseph had developmental disabilities and had been conditioned to violence as a result of growing up in an abusive household, which led to his actions.

In November 2013, Joseph Hall was found guilty of second-degree murder. Judge Leonard sentenced him to ten years in a California juvenile facility, and he will be 23 when he is released.
